Description
The LPMS-HR-RS232 brings the performance of the LPMS-HR IMU series to systems requiring a standard RS232 serial connection. RS232 is widely used in industrial control equipment, PLCs, and embedded systems, making this variant a practical option for integrating motion sensing into existing machine architectures without hardware redesign.
The wide input voltage range (5 – 36 V DC) accommodates diverse power rails found in industrial and mobile equipment. Output rate is fully configurable from 5 Hz to 1,000 Hz via LpmsControl or the LPBUS protocol.
As with all LPMS-HR variants, this is a 6-axis unit (gyro + accel). Roll and pitch output is reliable; yaw accuracy depends on the application environment and will drift without an external heading reference.
